Here it is, the requisite cliched Hello! Project entry from me. I considered entering a few other non-H!P covers, but then I snapped to my senses and picked this.

This is Track 7 from W's 1st album, DUO U&U. W's first album was, luckily for me, an album of covers from famous female duos from the 60s,70s, and 80s. This particular song was originally released by Wink in 7-05-1989.
Even though it was an album song, it received a music video for W's first Music Video DVD compilation.
Here are a couple of links should you want more information on the song, album, or group:

My choice here was a bit more limited than usual, since there aren't many covers of 80's song in Hello! Project. There are a few others I would've rather submitted for 80s mix (including one that was already finished), but I chose this one instead because it had a music video. I would've used the finished one had it been allowed to submit covers as judged files.

It probably would make more sense for me to have one chorus instead of two, as that would bring the file closer to ~1:40 instead of pushing 2:15 for something that seems unnecessary. I did it, though, (if I remember correctly), to have the "Stop" segments in there between chorus. Stupid/cheesy effect, but I like it. :P

Timing info. As in one other file I've done, I put in bpm stops when the girls say "STOP". Unnecessary (in terms of the music not actually stopping) and cheesy effect, but it's not that bad. Cheese always beats out necessity.

Created and edited with Photoshop CS and Irfanview 3.90.
Banner and Background are made up from screencaps from the music video with text added. Nothing surprising here.
The CDTitle is made out of the Hello! Project logo. I made it a while ago, and it was polished up by a friend (thanks surasshu!)

Movie edited with VirtualDub 1.6.11 (build 23787/release P4), encoded with DivX 5.2.1.
DWI movie script created with Notepad.
The movie is from the music video. It was edited down to correspond with how the mp3 was edited.
If you have problems playing the music video, make sure that you have the latest DivX codec (the minimum you should have is 5.2.1). Get the codec at www.divx.com

 #LYRICSPATH:Samishii Nettaigyo.lrc;
Defaults to romaji, but I also included the kanji.
In order to get the kanji lyrics to show instead of the romaji, rename "Samishii Nettaigyo.lrc" to something else (or move it somewhere, or delete it) and rename "Samishii Nettaigyo (kanji).lrc" to "Samishii Nettaigyo.lrc". There's one thing, though: StepMania currently doesn't have all of the kanji necessary to display all the lyrics. Also, DWI won't display the kanji at all, so I guess they're mostly there for reference.
Thank you to Mink for providing the lyrics on projecthello.com, a huge Hello! Project lyrics archive.

"I tried to make steps to fit the style of the song: I think they turned out pretty well. All steps are meant to be paddable. There's nothing much to say about the steps: I meant for them to all be appropriate for the song, neither too easy nor too hard, and hopefully not too boring." - That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
...Then again, who wouldn't say the above?

DWI page: Go to bemanistyle.com and search by author for "sanchny". I'd link you to my author page, but that only displays the 40 most recent simfiles. Plus bemanistyle is going to wipe the database clean on its way to 7.0, so my author page will change.
I've uploaded a ton of other (58) H!P simfiles, so check for those if you like this one (and/or any previous ones), and feel free to rate them and leave comments as appropriate. Email me if there are any problems. I'll upload some new ones after bemanistyle 7.0 goes online (and the simfile database re-population rush dies down).

I have too many people to thank for continued appreciation and support. You know who you are, I'll leave it at that.

Thanks for taking the time to play my simfile. Enjoy.
